Recently I repotted my Bougainvillea, you can find the article under category 'Repotting' Bougainvillea project 2019 (part I). I've repotted the tree in Midsummer 06/07/2019 (D/M/Y), some say I would lose the tree because you should not repot in summer. For the most of the native trees in Europe that's true, but for tropical trees it's a hoax. Tropical trees need sun, heat and humidity to recover from repotting. Here in Europe you can repot tropical trees in spring but they need to recover indoors or in a heated greenhouse.

The Bougainvillea twenty days after repotting, now we can see which color the flowers have. I guess it's the common Bougainvillea glabra but if you'd think otherwise, you're welcome to let me know.

These are some close-ups of the flowers. If these flowers have finished blooming I will remove all flowers so the energy can go to preparing new buds for next year.

After repotting twenty days ago the tree has only lost a few leaves.

Did you put it in the shade after reporting? Also, I live in Indiana. It’s gets really cold here. What do you do indoors?
